count me as another who fell for the ilussion, ha! this is some truly amazing art and way to bogle the mind, cant believe i didnt even noticed the unpainted spots!
oh, and the only reason i noticed the ruse was beacuse of the separataion of blue and red in the woman's arm, and even then i had to check the category it was put on to be sure it wasnt a normal painting!
How did you make this look like a painting rather than a photograph? I couldn't help myself, but to be curious because if I didn't read the description or anything else about this, I really would've mistaken this for a painting. It was just that good of an illusion
Not a prob I'll have to make time to check out sunrise then I should be able to critic it either this week or next week. Depending if I get a break long enough to look. lol I'm still rather a beginner with painting, but that's honestly what it looks to me. Its like you were able to take passion and give it two human forms, yet keeping it as one. It was simply stunning. If I haven't added you to my watch, I will when next I get a chance You can also link me your stuff if you wish.
At first, I'll be honest, I didn't like this--if only because it reminds me of the horrific time I had trying to do the same style in art class back junior year of high school. The completed project was nice, but yeah, just brought me back to that frustration. Then I clicked on the images to the side and realized that these are people painted like this...I can't imagine the frustration that I would have had trying to do this! It is absolutely amazing. I love how their skin color shows through in certain places and yet they meld so beautifully.
Wonderful cropping and lighting to help with the illusion of it being a painting. I really applaud the effort that must have gone into something like this. Congratulations on the DD!
